Contact Number - +971-558781704 POSITION TITLE: AREA SALES MANAGER LOCATION : Fujeirah / Ajman/Ras el Kheimah REPORTS TO : GENERAL SALES MANAGER JOB OBJECTIVES : Achieve the annual sales and distribution targets BASIC FUNCTION : Responsible for all activities related to Sales and Distribution of ambient Juice and Dairy products in the area. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Prepare monthly targets after consulting with the General Sales Manager. Ensure the sales team achieves their assigned sales target. 2. Optimizing journey plans and truck efficiency 3. Monitor the dispatch and return of sales trucks to administer the work pattern of Supervisors and Salesman. 4. Conduct daily meeting with supervisors and check the sales figures of salesmen on each route. 5. Monitor product placement in the market and provide guidance to salesmen regarding product display. 6. Analyze supervisors’ daily reports, and forward their comments and suggestions to the General Sales Manager for review and action. 7. Handle customer complaints and resolve them in a timely manner. 8. Identify new customers, arrange product promotion, check and confirm company schemes offered to customers. 9. Conduct periodic market survey in order to monitor competitive activities. 10. Supervise payment collection from credit paying customers. 11. Coordinate the adequate supply of products with the production department. 12. Prepare leave schedules for staff, arrange relievers and perform other routine administration work. 13. Attend and contribute to the monthly sales meeting. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/EXTENT OF PUBLIC CONTACT : - REPORTING TO THE GENERAL SALES MANAGER. - TWO DIRECT REPORTS AND 24 IN DIRECT REPORTS
